Open Road Slim Card Holder

A card holder a fifth of an inch thick, for whoever is tired of sitting on a wallet. It goes in the front pocket of your trousers without showing: six cards, your ID in the window and a few folded bills in the middle compartment. No zipper, no snap, nothing that adds bulk.

On the front, the clear window holds your ID or driver license, with a thumb cut out that pushes the card out when you need to show it without taking it out. Next to it, one card slot for the card you use most.

On the back, four staggered slots, each card showing a little above the next, so you grab the right one first time. Between front and back, the open middle compartment takes bills folded in half, a receipt or coins.

Empty, it is a fifth of an inch. With six cards and an ID it is about as thick as half a deck of cards. It is the size of a front pocket wallet, which is where it was made to live.

The material is faux leather with the grain and texture of aged leather, stitched with visible thread along the edges and the slot openings. We say it plainly because the other wallets in the store are leather, and this one is not: it is the light, thin and inexpensive option for leaving the house with the minimum.

About the colors

Five colors, measured on the product photos. Tobacco is the medium brown, the closest to natural leather. Coffee is a deep brown, almost chocolate. Black is black with the grey grain showing through. Sage Green is a light greyish green. Grey Blue is a deep blue, like dark denim.
