Some days the wind turns without warning. The North Wind was born for that kind of day: a light nylon windbreaker, quick-drying, with the roomy silhouette and the color-block panels that came straight out of the 90s.
The high collar zips up to the chin and cuts the wind. Note the two-way zipper: you open it from the bottom for mobility when sitting or cycling, without undoing the top.
One zipper, several jackets
The zipper is full-length and detachable: it opens completely and splits the front into two halves. That unlocks something almost no jacket offers. If you own more than one color, you can mix the halves and build your own two-tone version. An Expedition Green front with a Smoke Black one, a Mist Grey sleeve on the other side. With two jackets you get several combinations, and none like your neighbor's.
Cuffs and hem in ribbed elastic keep the warmth in and the wind out. All of it in the spirit of expedition jackets, which solved ventilation and fit mechanically, without relying on technical fabrics.
Open, the color-block cut shows: light panels on the shoulder and sleeve that give the retro feel without shouting. Light enough to fold into a backpack.
It is that wild-card jacket. Goes over a t-shirt or a sweatshirt, takes mid-season drizzle and works with jeans as well as chinos. The cut is roomy (baggy) in the chest and short in length: it ends at the belt line. Choose your size by height and length, not by chest.

Garment measurements. Garment chest is the full circumference zipped up, with the roomy cut already included: the L fits well up to a 112 cm (44 in) body chest. Length is from the base of the collar to the hem. Sleeve is raglan, measured from the center of the back to the cuff. Between two sizes, choose by length and sleeve, not by chest, which is roomy in all of them.
