Tooled Leather Belt

Anyone can make smooth leather. Tooled leather is another story: every scroll on this belt was pressed into the hide, the same work saddlers used to do by hand on harnesses and saddles. The Tooled Belt carries that pattern running the whole strap, from the keeper to the tip.

It is full-grain cowhide (a single piece, no joins and no glued backing), 3.8 cm (1.5 in) wide, closed by a brass pin buckle that takes on a matte shine over the years. It arrives with natural marks and darkens with use, the way only real leather does.

The tooling up close: the pattern is embossed into the leather itself, not printed. Over time the grooves darken and gain depth.

It comes with a hole punch included and a buckle held by a screw, so you can adjust the length at home: trim the excess and punch at the right spot. It is an everyday belt, from jeans to chinos, in Tobacco, Black and Coffee.

3.8 cm (1.5 in) wide: firmness and presence that hold up jeans and keep up with tailoring.

Length guide

Choose by your waist. The belt comes a little long and can be shortened with the hole punch included. If in doubt between two, go with the larger one.

Tip: check a belt you already wear, measuring from the buckle to the middle hole.
