Tight weave polyester body, sport collar, four pockets and a plaid lining inside, which is the detail that changes the piece when you open it.
The fabric is a tight weave polyester, dry to the touch with a low sheen, the kind that barely wrinkles and falls back into place on its own. This piece handles moderate rain and cold, a mid season layer.
The collar is a sport collar, the kind that stands up when you close the first snap and lies flat when you open it. The shoulder has a slightly relaxed drop, without being oversized.
There are four pockets, two on the chest with a flap and snap button and two below. The back has a yoke seam at shoulder blade height, which is what gives it the look of a work jacket rather than a sports windbreaker.

A coach jacket is worn over a tee or a shirt, so the garment is wider than your chest. The chart already accounts for that, so choose by your chest measurement, not by the letter you wear in a tee.

Garment measurements in inches / cm. Garment chest = full circumference. Fits chest = body range the size fits well, already allowing for layering underneath.
How to measure your chest. Standing, wearing only a tee, run the tape around the torso at armpit height, at the widest point, keeping the tape level across the back.
How to check against a jacket you already own. Lay the jacket closed on a table, measure armpit to armpit in a straight line and double it. Compare with the Garment chest column.
If you fall between two sizes, take the larger one. The size printed inside the garment follows the maker's scale and does not match US sizing, always use the chart above.

- Machine wash, delicate cycle, cold water
- Do not bleach
- Dry in the shade, on a hanger, so the body does not crease
- Iron on low heat, inside out
